Dear Apple
I love you. I really do. We've been in a relationship since 1992 and I've not strayed at all.
But.
Why so gloomy lately, sweetie? The color has slowly drained out of you and with the introduction today of the black / white 4GB Shuffles I'm afraid you're going to fade away into the shadows altogether; not to mention that at first glance it appeared you were hawking a feminine hygiene product. If that Shuffle was blue or pink or purple or any of the other lovely luscious colors that make up a wee tiny portion of your products I'd have thought right away "new toy!" instead of "WTF are they selling?"
I suppose I must snag an old Shuffle in girlie pink before they're gone.
I beginning to think all this grey technology is to blame for the economy. Things were great when we had candy-colored iMacs and aqua interfaces. Now it's grey like a cloudy day or old underwear.
I'm going to go hug my new-but-discontinued black Macbook now... I would've sprung for a 17" Macbook Pro but you don't make them in black. Or Pink. Or Blue. Or *anything but grey*. Pop some anti-depressants and get back to me, okay?
